I’m not sure what it was that led them down the streets of town. Right to the traffic stop. Maybe someone more familiar with seasonal music has a better grasp of the issue than me.
But what I think is we pretend that we don’t really think that many people will pretend to think things they don’t really think even though they know you don’t really think that because they know that there are other people who will pretend not to think what you said and they will make you wish you hadn’t said what you thought, even though everyone involved thinks the same thing. Everyone will still feel compelled to disapprove of you for thinking what everyone else thinks.
